How to choose a car kit.

Which Parrot car kit is best for you?

Here’s all the information you need to decide.

Remember, all of our Parrot car kits have the following standard features:

  • Supports up to five Bluetooth phones.
  • note: CK3000 supports 3 Bluethooth phones.
  • Speed-dial using voice recognition, or through the screen. (You can program up to 150 names into the voice recognition system.)
  • Automatically synchronize the car kit with your cellular phonebook (up to 1,000 contacts).
  • Your car’s sound system is automatically muted during incoming and outgoing calls.
  • The car kit can announce an incoming caller’s number in your own voice (if you’ve voice-programmed the phone number).
  • Press the left green lit button to:
    • Answer a call.
    • Transfer a hands-free call to your cell phone or Bluetooth earpiece for privacy (or continue the phone call outside your vehicle).
    • Answer a call via call waiting.
    • Answer call waiting calls with “call flashing” - just briefly press the left green lit button.

  • Press the right red lit button to end a call.

  • Use your car speakers for robust, high-definition sound.

  • The speakerphone includes both echo cancellation and advanced noise reduction.

  • Every Parrot integrated car kit starts automatically when you start your vehicle. Just start your engine and begin talking hands-free.

Parrot CK3000 Car Kit

The CK3000 is the best choice for those who prefer a simple solution, without an LCD display or voice commands.

The CK3000 is great for inconspicuous installations. The only visible parts are the microphone and keypad. All you see is a green connect button, a red disconnect button, and a volume knob.

Note: The CK3000 does not auto synchronize the adress book from your phone, but will require the object push method from your phone.

It has a memory capacity of 250 contacts versus 1,000 for the CK3100 and CK3200. The MKi series car kits will allow 1,500 contacts per phone (5 Bluetooth phones)  

Parrott CK3100 Car Kit

The CK3100’s black and white LCD display shows caller ID, carrier signal strength, and the last incoming calls in large well-contrasted digits that are easy to read at a glance. The shape of the CK3100 allows it to be installed in most hard-to-fit dashes. 

The CK3100 is the best choice for fleets, because it offers the most desirable display features and is rugged.

It’s the best choice for those that want a display and d not care about the color display or streaming audio/music. 

 

Parrott CK3200 Car Kit

The CK3200 is an excellent choice for those who want a vibrant 16x128 color display that supports 262,000 colors. With The CK3200, you can choose any image to display when there is no call. The CK3200 also features photo caller ID—when an incoming call has an attached picture, the picture is displayed on the screen. If the phone ringer is off, the picture is still displayed.
